CNN's New Look

In case you haven't noticed, CNN has updated their on-screen graphics. All their typography is at least a couple of point sizes smaller, including the infamous crawl at the very bottom. They've reduced the size of their logo, toned down the blood-red color bars, and reduced the identity of their program names to a sliver which sits in the lower right corner. They've also done away with the grab bag assortment of typefaces they were using, and (in watching the channel for numerous hours now) have stuck with a thick, condensed face set in white for their story titles. In all, the contrast is very sharp, and the layout is clean, uncluttered, and easily the best looking (and least obnoxious) of the cable news crowd.
