One of my all time favorite Unreal Tournament character mods has been updated for Unreal Tournament 2004 -- Bender from Futurama. Not only does he bust apart like coffee cans on a string when taking fire, but his chest cavity opens to reveal four bottles of brew, and he's got an arsenal of vocal taunts to drive your competition mad. Worth grabbing if you play the game.

LOL! Nice one! I'm still looking for a hilarious UT2004 mod---a toilet seat with wheels and everything and a sign in the back "How's my driving? Call 1-800-EAT-SH#@" I couldn't stop laughing.
I'm scared to look at my UT2004 stats. I must've put in a LOT of hours by now. :) I'm addicted. HELP!!!! :)

By the way, I should note that Bender is only red because he was on the red team. He's blue on...blue. And if you're playing a non-team based game, he's regular ol' bender gray.

Milan. I feel your pain. I had to trash UT2004 off my computer and give away my install disk. It is truly addictive. No I mean really. Here are symptoms of drug addiction:
- Abrupt changes in work or school attendance, quality of work, work output, grades, discipline. (Um, Yeah)
- Unusual flare-ups or outbreaks of temper. (Goes without saying.)
- Withdrawal from responsibility. (Just one second honey, can't you see I have the flag?)
- General changes in overall attitude. ( Thinking of game strategy during important business meeting.)
- Deterioration of physical appearance and grooming. (Still wearing boxers at 2 pm? Check.)

I challenge you to a duel for the Flashcoder's UT/MX2004 Championship Belt. The game settings are not for the limp wristed - 1 on 1 Instagib CTF in the BarnBurner Classic map. The winner must also code an AS2 scrollbar component in less than 5k.
The mic has brought trash talking to a whole new level... though it can get extremely annoying, i.e. when someone with username "D12 De@th" plays Eminem songs through his mic the entire game.

I'm sorry--what map is that screenshot from? It looks sweet, and yet I've been through all the Onslaught maps and don't recognize that one at all!

That map is a copy of one from Battlefield 1942. You can find it and tons of other third-party Onslaught maps here:

that's AWESOME, and those maps are killer... played my best game ever last night on Dawn... 94 kills and a score of 263
i play on TUSClan ONS Fatpipe 1 under the name of Corvus...maybe see you on there sometime?
