Spring
We're only in the first few days of February, and already Spring is starting to look quite busy; busier actually than any time in recent history. This, I should note, is a very good thing. Dominey Design has multiple projects in development at this time, with one in particular that will offer a considerable amount of time with a very, very well known company. I wish I could say more about the project, but that'll have to wait until the time is right and details are finalized. In March I travel to SXSW to be a guest panelist, as well as to spend some time meeting a number of people in person I've only spoken to electronically. Again, another very good thing. In between work, my wife and I are in the throes of house buying, which is a crazy first time experience to say the least. Truth is, we're not terribly worried about finding one to our liking, for nearly every other house on every street has a sign in the yard -- a brutal reminder of how deep the economic slowdown smacked Atlanta (and of course elsewhere), and how much work there is to do before times turn around, the "For Sale" signs make way for "Help Wanted," the bureaucractic blustering about Iraq ceases (whatever the outcome), and I can actually look forward to opening a investment statement. We can only hope.
