SXSW
On Sunday, March 9, at the 2003 South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive Festival, I'll be a panelist alongside Jeffrey Zeldman and Adam Greenfield for an hour-plus session exploring the ins and outs of the independent web publisher. We'll be discussing and answering audience questions concerning the rewards, triumphs, and discontents of indie web publishing. If you plan to attend SXSW (March 7 - March 11 in Austin, TX), be sure to drop in for a robust, brutally honest look at our own online pursuits, the online design community, web standards, and more. Complete details (including time) to follow as we get closer to the fest.

Why can't these things happen closer to my house? (Virginia)
Well, sounds like fun. How about broadcasting it on Aizai? :-)

Good luck , and enjoy the conference. I went last year to SXSW, but won't be able to make it this year. I met some interesting people.
