My 12" PowerBook: Update

I've received a number of emails (why, I can't really say) from readers of this site asking how I like my new 12" PowerBook, and if I would recommend the purchase of one. In case there are other curious minds out there, I haven't received it yet. Last time I checked the unit was slated to ship "on or before February 11." If recent events are to be trusted (the arrival of some units in Apple stores, which you can see in-store shots of here) I should be receiving this sooner than Apple's estimate. Or at least that's my hope. As an owner of a 500mhz G3 iBook (white), I'm quite interested to see how they compare (size, weight, speed, features). One thing is for sure, I'll post a detailed critique when it arrives (that is, after I get my nose out of the box - I swear, there is something about the smell of a new laptop).
