Morning Debug
I awoke Christmas morning at our family's retreat in the North Georgia mountains to a light sprinkle of snow on the ground, frosted windows, and the warm realization that I didn't have to get up and rush anywhere. Instead of falling back asleep, I laid there for a while; staring at the ceiling and enjoying the soft silence. While laying, staring, thinking, and anticipating the giddy fun our family would be having in a couple of hours, I realized why a particular attribute of a css class wouldn't load for a site I was developing, for I had mistakenly tried to write the style sheet into the document with javascript through the body onLoad action instead of calling the function from within the head tag. I laughed at the stupidity of my mistake, and then, sadly, at the fact that I was laying in bed, on Christmas morning, gazing at the morning sun reflect off soft patches of snow outside the window, thinking about goddamn browser bugs.
