10 Videos on MTV
According to this article at CMJ.com, MTV will soon be employing a new programming initiative known as "The Big Ten," where the channel will cut their already short list of music videos even shorter and concentrate solely on ten - ten - music videos a week. No word yet on when MTV plans to drop the M.

I'd care more if I actually watched that crap anymore. What real music fan does?

This is the reason I don't watch MTV.

I got in a fist fight with an MTV employee at a Christmas party 2 years ago. Not surprisingly, they don't teach people how to fight at MTV.
He was name droppin' all the TRL guests he met and I finally had enough and told him that MTV was a joke and he partly responsible for making everything really uncool.
After busting his fucking nose, I got thrown out of the party but I did leave them with something to talk about.
Ho ho ho! Green Giant!

MTV is such a piece of crap. It's kind of amazing how far away from the originally intended purpose they've gotten. 10 videos. That's just disgusting.

When was that, back in the early 90s maybe, that they actually did play videos all the time?

EMPTY TV
Are they filling the rest of the time up with commercials? Who watches MTV? Their focus groups are lying, of course, they always lie.
