OS X Software: GyazMail

Gyaz MailIf Apple's built-in OS X Mail app leaves you uninspired, or you don't feel like shelling out the cash for Eudora or Entourage, never fear. Check out GyazMail - a completely free Cocoa e-mail client for OS X that is well on its way to a being a handsome, mature application. The app is very similar to Mail in interface, preferences, and other functions, but offers additional powers for filtering, searching, as well as assigning custom key commands. The client fully cooperates with OS X's Address Book, has auto-address completion, and plenty more features. Oh, and a tip for old school Mac users - open "View / Customize Toolbar" to say hello to an old friend.

Thanks. I have been looking for a replacement for Apple mail for some time and this looks very promising. If only Apple Mail wasn't soo darn slow it would be near perfection.

Drat! - No IMAP support yet. I guess I'll have to wait a bit.
