Scrolling through the endless collection of rock group publicity photos, none with any recognizable stars (except for Poison on the first page), you become absorbed by their gleeful smiles, eyes full of wonder, faces a glow with the promise of rock 'n roll. With each flash of the camera they transcend beyond the everyday, the humdrum, the crushing weight of reality. They encapsulate everyone's fantasy of breaking loose and running free.
