Bye Bye Happy Mac

According to this photo, taken by some Mac user who got their hands on the very latest developer build of OS X 10.2, the "happy Mac" that normally appears when booting a Macintosh has just received a major, minimalist makeover. Real? Fake? Who knows. But I like it.

I dunno... maybe I'm a fool for Mac nostalgia, but I do like to see that little Mac plus greeting me.

Think I'll miss it. (Not that I'd give up OS X or anything...)

You don't suppose the 'deception' in the address is a clue to its validity, do you?
