Elvis in the Park
Tonight we say goodbye to another rousing summer of Screen On The Green - an annual film festival presented by Turner and HBO featuring classic Hollywood flicks displayed outdoors on a big screen in Piedmont Park. Because the event is free, requires no tickets, and allows in all the beer, wine and food you can carry, the event is a huge outdoor party with a few thousand strangers all gathered to share a movie together.
Tonight though could be different. The final movie is none other than Viva Las Vegas staring, that's right, Elvis bay-be. Should be lots of singing, and possibly an impersonator or two. If you live in Atlanta and come by, look for a six foot four guy with glasses eating Popeyes chicken and swilling martinis. That's me.

Hi Todd!
We have a similar monthly event in Orlando (actually Winter Park, the old-money suburb thereof)
It's called "Popcorn Flicks" and it's been a big hit. Between 300-500 people each month.
The next one will be "Singin' in the Rain." Should be fun, particularly if we get our usual evening showers. :)
Cheers
Chas
