Over a month after ordering my first digital camera, late yesterday I finally received my Canon PowerShot S110.
I'm totally knocked out. Last night my wife and I killed a couple of hours taking a ridiculous amount of cat photos, transferring them into iPhoto, and making some really silly QuickTime slide shows with Pizzicato 5 music as the soundtrack. Once I have something worth sharing, I'll be posting it here.

Ha! Aren't digital cameras great? :-) I need to boost the ram in my quickly-aging iMac 266... 96M just doesn't cut it anymore, and iPhoto is painfully slow.
